According to the detectives, the daughter of a Houston couple whose bodies were discovered there has been found, and she is in good health. She had been missing for more than 40 years.
The Texas Attorney General’s Office recently established a Cold Case and Missing Persons Unit, which is responsible for making the announcement on Thursday morning.
Their daughter, Holly Marie Clouse, now 40 years old and the mother of five children, was located in Oklahoma, where she was living at the time. On January 12, 1981, the bodies of Holly’s parents, Dean and Tina Linn Clouse were discovered in a rural area of Houston. After their deaths, Holly went missing.
The identities of the pair were established earlier this year through the application of sophisticated DNA procedures, which were funded by the podcast producer audio chunk.
A painstaking search for records of the child’s disappearance, which included the assistance of counterparts in three other states, eventually led them to Oklahoma and to Holly Marie, who is now a mother of five.
