On February 12, 1997, Keaton Sutherland, an offensive lineman for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League, was born. He participated in college football at Texas A&M.
Sutherland, an early enrollee, played for the Texas A&M Aggies for four seasons. He took part in all 13 of the team’s contests, starting seven of them, and was the starting right guard for the Aggies heading into his true freshman campaign.

After his freshman season, Sutherland underwent surgery to treat a shoulder injury; as a result, he missed spring training and lost his starting job.
On September 8, 2020, Sutherland was added to the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad.
He was elevated to the active roster on September 28, 2020. On August 31, 2021, Sutherland was cut by the Bengals; the next day, he was re-signed to the practice squad.
Sutherland committed to the San Francisco 49ers on March 8, 2022. On August 30, 2022, he was released, and the following day, he was added to the practice squad. In 2022, on September 13, he was freed.
