Manny Jones is an American football player who plays defensive lineman for the Arizona Cardinals in the National Football League. He weighs 132 kg and stands 1.93 meters tall. He played football for the school’s Wolfpack team while a student at Woodland High School. He was named to the 2016 Georgia Region 7A Co-Defensive Player of the Year as well as first team All-State.
Following his high school graduation, he attended Colorado State University and played NCAA football for the Colorado State Rams. He played in all 12 games as a true freshman in 2017, including one start, and finished with 35 tackles, six tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks.
He achieved career highs in tackles and sacks in 2019, totaling 54 and 5.0 respectively, including three sacks in Wyoming. Additionally, he made eight starts in his 10 appearances. He started all four of the Rams’ games during the abbreviated 2020 season, which earned him honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference recognition. He finished his collegiate career with 49 overall games played over five seasons, 181 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 33 tackles for loss, one interception, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. The Arizona Cardinals selected him as an undrafted free agent in the 2022 NFL Draft.
