Marcus Peters plays football professionally and is a member of the National Football League. He is a cornerback for the Baltimore Ravens. While attending McClymonds High School in Oakland, California, he participated in football. As a senior, he had six kickoff or punt return touchdowns and seven interceptions. He began 12 of 13 games as a sophomore in 2013 and made 55 tackles, had one sack, and five interceptions. The Kansas City Chiefs selected Peters in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. On May 15, 2015, he agreed to a fully guaranteed $4-year, $9.58-million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, which also included with a $5.23-million signing bonus. During the NFL Draft in March 2018, the Kansas City Chiefs traded him to the Los Angeles Rams.
On October 15, 2019, he was dealt to the Baltimore Ravens. On December 28, Peters and the Ravens reached an agreement on a three-year, $42 million contract. On September 8, 2021, Peters tore his ACL during practice. The following day, he was placed on injured reserve.
