Matthew J. Berry is a writer, columnist, fantasy sports analyst, and television personality from the United States.
Berry began his career as a television and film writer, co-creating a couple of pilots and film scripts with his writing partner Eric Abrams.
Berry was born to parents Nancy and Leonard Berry in Denver, Colorado. Due to the nature of his parents jobs, the family relocated several times, including to Richmond, VA, Atlanta, GA, and Charlottesville, VA.
Berry’s mother is a former city councilwoman, while his father is a Texas A&M University professor.
Berry has a degree in electronic media from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 1992.

Berry relocated to Los Angeles after graduating to work in the show industry.
Berry was employed as a production assistant for The George Carlin Show on Fox after a few odd jobs. After he had the job, he worked on the show for a year.
Berry joined ESPN as a fantasy director in 2007. Throughout his career, Berry has made a number of appearances.
