Nicholas John Bosa was born on October 23, 1997, and is a defensive end for the National Football League’s San Francisco 49ers (NFL). He attended Ohio State before being drafted second overall by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Bosa was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year after recording nine sacks during the regular season and assisting his team in reaching the Super Bowl. He is John Bosa’s son and Joey’s younger brother, both of whom played in the NFL.
Bosa went to St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he was a four-year starter and multiple-year first-team all-state selection. He was a five-star recruit and one of the top players in his class. He is committed to play college football at Ohio State University.
As a true freshman at Ohio State in 2016, Bosa appeared in all 13 games, tallying 29 tackles, seven for a loss, and five sacks. In his sophomore season, he started seven games as a defensive end for the Buckeyes.
