Established 62 years ago on August 14, 1969, New York Jets are a professional American football team based in the New York Metro.
The Jets compete in the American Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference (AFC), the team began to play in 1960.
Since its establishment, the New York Jets have had some amazing rushers in the team. Freeman McNeil, Emerson Boozer, Matt Snell are all great rushers who played their hearts out to see the team reach higher heights.

Curtis James Martin Jr was born on the 1st of May, 1973 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Martin had no interest in sports growing. As a way to keep him away from the violence around him, his mother talked him into playing football in his senior year in high school.
According to the former head coach of Taylor Allderdice High School, Curtis was a natural athlete who became an immediate star on the team. Due to his performance in high school, he caught the attention of the head coach of the University of Pittsburgh, Paul Hacket. Although he had other offers from various universities, Martin decided to stay close to home and choose Pittsburgh University.
Martin began his professional career with the New England Patriots and spent 3 seasons with them from 1995 to 1997 before moving to join the New York Jets from 1998 to 2006. During his career, he made a total of 14, 101 rushing yards of his 10, 301 yards was within the period he spent playing for the New York Jets.
Martin’s 10,301 rushing yards make him the New York Jets’ leading rusher of all-time.
