Jackson Jaguars is an American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida. The team is a member of the American football conference and plays in the National Football League (NFC). The Jaguars play their home games at the TIAA Bank Field.
Jackson jaguars was founded as an expansion team alongside Carolina Partners in the year 1995. They initially competed in the AFC Central until 2002 when the team got aligned to the AFC South.
Shahid Khan, who is the current owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars bought it from the original majority owner, Wayne Weaver in 2011.

Shahid Khan is a Pakistan-American football guru and successful businessman. He owns the American automobile company Flex-N-Gate. Aside owning the Jackson Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL), Shahid Khan also owns Fulham FC. He is the co-owner of All Elite Wrestling (AEW); an American Wrestling promotion company.
Shahid was born in the year 1950 on 18 July in Lahore, Pakistan. His Father Rafiq Khan owned a survey and drawing accessories shop while his mother, was a professor of Mathematics.
Khan moved to America at age 16 after gaining admission to the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign. He graduated with a BSc in Industrial Engineering in 1971.
He worked for Flex-N-Gate while he was in the University. After graduation, he was hired and given the position of Engineering director at the company.
He saved up $16,000 and acquired a loan of $50, 000 in 1980 to start his own company called Bumper Works. The company was into making customized Bumpers for pickups and body shop repairs.
Khan began making small supplies of Bumpers for Toyota pickups. Nine years after the company’s establishment, it became the sole supplier for the entire Toyota line in the United States. This increased the company’s sales greatly.
On November 29, 2011, Shahid Khan reached an agreement and purchased the Jackson Jaguars from its initial owner Wayne Weaver at an amount of $770 million.
Khan is married to his wife, Ann Carison Khan with two children. He has a daughter and a son.
