American actor Tony Lee Dow is well-known. He also creates sculptures and both produces and directs movies. He rose to fame thanks to his performance in the 1957–1963 television sitcom Leave It to Beaver, which aired during prime time. Dow, who had little to no acting experience prior to being cast as Wally Cleaver on Leave It to Beaver, launched his career.
