Cethan Carter was the one who wore the number 82 jersey for the Cincinnati Bengals. Currently, he plays for the Miami Dolphins football team in the National Football League. He plays as a fullback and stands 1.91 meters tall. At Archbishop Rummel High School, he participated in high school football.
He spent time lining up at tight end, H-back, and fullback while he was a student at Archbishop Rummel. In his senior year of 2012, he caught 23 receptions for 418 yards and five touchdowns, receiving Honorable Mention All-State recognition. In 2012, Rummell won the Class 5A state title of Louisiana with a 14-0 record.
From 2013 through 2016, he participated in collegiate football with the University of Nebraska-Nebraska Lincoln’s Cornhuskers. He majored in criminal justice and criminology. Throughout his college career, he participated in 43 games, starting 35 of them, and caught 59 receptions for 744 yards and 4 touchdowns. His 59 receptions were the fifth-most by a tight end in school history.
Carter joined the Cincinnati Bengals on May 5, 2017, after going undrafted. He recorded his first NFL touchdown in Week 15 against the New England Patriots in December 2019. He had two receptions for 13 yards by season’s end. With 16 special teams tackles, he was a vital member of the Cincinnati Bengals’ special teams. Carter agreed to a three-year deal with the Miami Dolphins in March 2021.
