In 2017, ZaQuandre White was the most highly recruited running back prospect in the state of Florida, coming out of North Fort Myers. During the Rotary South All-Star Classic that took place in Fort Myers in December, he was the most valuable player for the North team due to his four touchdown scores.
White took part in Nike’s “The Opening” in 2016, and in spite of the fact that he only played in 14 games during that time period, he rushed for more than 1,500 yards and scored 14 touchdowns.
During his first year as a true freshman at Florida State, White participated in scout team drills and practiced as a running back on the scout team.
Before the start of the 2018 season, he made the transition from running back to outside linebacker. As a redshirt freshman, White played for the Seminoles and recorded 22 tackles with one kickoff return of 20 yards. He also made 11 appearances for the team.
White spent the 2019 season at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, where he returned to play running back and was named to the first team of NJCAA All-America.
He carried the ball 137 times for 876 yards and 10 touchdowns over the course of eight games, averaging 109.5 yards per game and 6.4 yards per carry. The Reivers finished the 2019 season with a record of 9-3, which included a victory in the Graphic Edge Bowl.
On May 13, 2022, the Dolphins signed collegiate free agent ZaQuandre White after he had gone undrafted in the draft.
