Meet Zoe Louise Ball is a British tv and radio host who was born on November 23, 1970. She was the very first female host of the BBC’s Radio 1 and Radio 2 breakfast shows, and from 1996 to 1999, she co-hosted the children’s show “Life & Kicking with” Jamie Theakston.
Zoe Ball grew up in Farnham Common, Buckinghamshire, where she was born and raised. She is the daughter of Johnny Ball, a television host, and Julia Anderson, his wife. When Zoe was two years old, her parents split up.
Between 1975 and 1978, Ball attended Heston Junior School in the Hounslow neighborhood. Before transferring to Holy Cross Convent School in Chalfont St Peter and Amersham College of Art and Technology, she had attended Farnham Common First School and Farnham Common Middle School. She was also a member of the Young Theatre in Beaconsfield, where she received acting training.
She commenced her career as a runner at Granada Television. She subsequently spent two years as a researcher for quiz programs. She has worked as a TV host for a variety of shows, including The Big Breakfast and others.
