Alexander Victor Schauffele is an American professional golfer who competes on the PGA Tour. Since turning pro in 2015, he has won four tournaments on the tour.
Schauffele’s greatest major finish was a T2 in both the 2018 Open Championship and the 2019 Masters, his best major finish to date. Schauffele has also had success on the European Tour.
Xander Schauffele won the Olympic gold medal in the men’s individual golf competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Later on, he went on to play collegiate golf at California State University, Long Beach and San Diego State University, among other places. The 2014 California State Amateur Championship was won by him.
