Sticky Vicky, a Benidorm icon, was brought to the hospital after suffering a catastrophic fall. At the end of June, 79-year-old Victoria Aragues Gadea shattered her knees climbing into a car.
She was hospitalized for five days and had staples placed in her knees before being released. As a result of the discomfort she was experiencing and her worries that the infection had spread, she returned to the hospital.
On the 3rd of July, she posted the following on Facebook: “Hello Everyone. To begin with, I had an accident last week before I got in the car and I fell to the ground. Fortunately, I’m alright. We were in the hospital for five days.
“This is the second time we’ve been here since I was released and returned to my house since it aches so much and you need to check for an infection. “I really hope not, because that would mean that we could go home today. We’ll keep you updated on the progress. Take care.”
