Mickey Rooney Jr., the first child of Mickey Rooney and a founding member of the Mouseketeers, has passed away. He was 77.
According to a Facebook post by his friend and fellow actor Paul Petersen, Rooney Jr. passed away on Saturday at his home in Glendale, Arizona. They were both Disney’s first-generation Mouseketeers.
Rooney (1920–2014) and Betty Jane Rase (1927–2002), a former Miss Birmingham and vocalist. His first film performance was in Hot Rods to Hell in 1967, following his brother Tim’s appearance as a “Mouseketeer” in the Mickey Mouse Club in 1955.
Later, in 1975 and 1980, he had subsequent appearances in the movies Honeysuckle Rose and the television movie Beyond the Bermuda Triangle.
Playboy Playmate of the Month Merci Montello and Rooney were previously wed. Laura Hollander and Rooney were wed on December 30, 1986, after they first met 1986. They were wed up till her passing away in 2006.

On July 16, 2022, Rooney passed away at his Glendale, Arizona, residence at age 77. According to reports, Mickey Rooney Jr, the cause of death is currently not yet publicized but it’s speculated that he could have passed away due to natural causes.
