Is Travis Scott Actually a Good Rapper?
Travis is a musically gifted rapper who isn’t a lyrical artist. For a man with such a short career as a musician, his ability to select such a large number of idols is remarkable.
As a result, he was able to work on some of the most important albums of the decade, including Rihanna’s Anti, Kanye West’s Yeezus, and The Life of Pablo, to name a few. On this front, he’s actually pretty humble:
Travis Scott is not only a good, but one of the best performing musicians right now, in my opinion.
People love coming back to listen to Travis’ music because it has the power to simultaneously pop a club off and establish lasting, musical durability.
He creates music that is both addicting and non-offensive. He straddles the line between mumble rap and infectious turn up music, yet his work is enjoyable to listen to.
Many rap purists dislike Travis Scott’s music for one reason: they believe that the lyrics are the most important aspect of rap music.

If you’ve ever heard of Travis Scott or his music, his beats and production will be the first thing that comes to mind.
In addition to being more acclimated to his superstar status, he’s slowly displaying newfound adaptability.
That’s why Frank Ocean and Rae Sremmurd have asked him to remix their songs, knowing that he’ll increase the overall number of views and anticipation surrounding their hits.
Goosebumps is without a doubt the most difficult and hype-inducing song I’ve ever played. Antidote went triple platinum, but not before Travis staked his record label’s future on the sample.
[Every track on Rodeo and Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight is filled with spacey and moody bangers that put the production ahead of the lyrics or bars. Travis Scott’s and all of his music’s defining feature has been this.
Travis Scott is probably not for you if you anticipate rap music to be a means to an end – to teach greater social issues or make social commentary.
However, if you listen to Travis’ music as if it were the end in itself, you can’t help but appreciate it.
It’s why every Travis Scott concert features big scenes and it’s difficult to dispute that Travis Scott is not just one of the best performers, but also a fantastic rapper and artist, after seeing these scenes.
