Who is Amina Muaddi
Amina Muaddi is of Jordanian and Romanian descent and was born in Romania. The Muaddi family moved to Amman after she was born.
She spent the majority of her childhood in Jordan, Romania, and Italy. Muaddi received her studies at Milan’s European Institute of Design.
She interned at Bridal Vogue during her studies. She later worked as a fashion assistant intern at L’Uomo Vogue and GQ US in New York.
Muaddi relocated to Riviera del Brenta after finishing her study because she wanted to design shoes. There, she collaborated with craftspeople and suppliers to create shoe components.
Oscar Tiye, her first brand, was co-founded by her in Milan. She eventually relocated to Paris, where she worked for Alexandre Vauthier’s footwear line.
She co-founded Amina Muaddi, her own label, in 2018. Amina Muaddi has debuted a high-end collection of shoes, handbags, and jewelry.
Currently, the goods are created in Paris and made in Italy. Her shoes are known for their unusual pyramid-style heel, which has attracted celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, and Kylie Jenner.
Rihanna signed Muaddi to design footwear for Fenty (a fashion company) in December 2019, and their debut collection was released in July 2020.
