Arianna Zeldin Father: Who is Arianna Zeldin Father Lee Zeldin?
Lee Zeldin is the father of Arianna Zeldin. Lee is an American attorney, politician, and officer in the United States Army Reserve. A Republican, he has represented New York’s 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives since 2015.
In 2008, Zeldin ran against Tim Bishop, who was serving as the incumbent representative for New York’s first congressional district. Bishop won the match against Zeldin by a score of 58 to 42 percent.
On October 6, 2013, Zeldin made the announcement that he will be running for the Republican nomination once more so that he could challenge Bishop. His constituency in the state senate encompassed a significant section of the western part of the congressional district.
Following his victory over George Demos in the Republican primary, Zeldin campaigned unchallenged for the nomination of Conservative Party candidate in the primary held on June 24. On November 4, he won the election with more than half of the vote, defeating Bishop.
In February of 2015, the National Republican Congressional Committee made the announcement that Zeldin would be one of 12 members participating in the Patriot Program.
This program is intended to assist in protecting vulnerable Republican incumbents in the 2016 election. Zeldin was one of the members chosen for this program.
Zeldin had no competition in the 2016 Republican primary. He faced Democratic contender Anna Throne-Holst, a Southampton Town Board member, in the general election on November 8. With 58% of the vote, Zeldin was declared the victor.
