A new twist has been added to the show as Big Brother Naija Season 7 steadily nearing its final weeks and this has created a measure of anxiety among viewers of the show across Africa.
The formation of the Level 3 house, where the evicted housemates will stay until at least Sunday, September 18, was announced by host Ebuka on Sunday during the last eviction which saw Doyin, Eloswag and Chomzy being axed from the show.
A statement from the show’s moderator Biggie while clearing the anxiety from fans read;
“The House Guests are no longer in the running for the highly coveted Grand Prize but are eligible to earn winnings from Sponsored Tasks. Unbeknownst to them and the Housemates, they will occupy Level 3 until 18 September at the very least, partaking in normal House activities such as Diary Sessions, Tasks and Head of House Games. Nominations also remain the same, but no one in the House would know if the House Guests are Evicted or not.”
This means that Level 2 has now become Level 3 —a home for the evicted Housemates.
The evicted housemates will henceforth be referred to as house guests instead of housemates, it was announced.
Furthermore, the expelled housemates, although being in the Level 3 house, are not eligible to win the N100,000,000 top prize, according to Ebuka.
