Who Is Calvin Ridley?
Meet the American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Atlanta Falcons Calvin Orin Ridley. He was born on 20 December, 1994, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. Calvin was a product of Alabama University where he played college football.
Calvin Ridley joined the Falcons in the 2018 NFL Draft. Before his professional career, Calvin played alongside stars like Lamar Jackson, Marquise Brown, and Trayvon Mullen in Pop Warner football.
His early school days were focused on him at Monarch High School in Florida where he featured greatly in high school football. At Alabama University where he attended his college, he earned three receptions for 22 yards for the first game he featured in in college.
In the year 2016 whiles still in college he was a fearsome formidable opponent. In his second season, he recorded 129 receiving yards and one touchdown advantage over Western Kentucky. Then in 2017, he rocked 82 yards and one touchdown.
In the year 2018 of his professional career, he earned four receptions and a total of 64 yards in his debut appearance. That same year he was crowned with the title of Offensive Rookie champion.
The year 2022 seemed not to have started on a good note for Calvin. He was reported to have undergone a suspension indefinitely after placing a wager on games that were played in the previous season.
