Bobby Joseph Wagner (born June 27, 1990) is an American football linebacker for the National Football League’s Seattle Seahawks (NFL).
He attended Utah State University and was selected in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks.
Wagner played high school football for the Titans at Colony High School in Ontario, California. From 2008 through 2011, Wagner attended Utah State University.
Wagner confirmed on January 14, 2012, that he had accepted his invitation to play in the 2012 Senior Bowl. Since Chris Cooley in 2004, he was the first Utah State player to play in the game.
Wagner was taken in the second round (47th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He is the highest-ranked player from Utah State to be taken in the NFL draft since Rulon Jones in 1980.
