Lammons played four seasons at South Carolina. In his lesser season, Lammons began each of the 13 of the Gamecocks games and made 53 handles (four for misfortune), a sack, five passes protected, and completed eighth in the Southeastern Conference with three block attempts.
As a senior, he completed third in the group with 79 handles (three for misfortune), two constrained bumbles and seven passes protected. Lammons completed his university career with 177 absolute handles (nine for loss), a sack, four-block attempts, and 21 passes safeguarded with three bungles constrained and three recuperated.
