Ron Rivera is a retired American player who is currently into coaching after retirement. He was born on 7 January 1962 in Fort Ord National Monument, California, United States. Rivera attended Seaside High School and began playing football.
As a lead trainer, Rivera was the protective facilitator for Bears in 2006, who were National Football Club (NFC) advocates and contended in Super Bowl XLI. In 2011, he was named lead trainer of the Panthers.
Rivera was perceived as the NFL Coach of the Year by the Associated Press in 2013 and in 2015. Since assuming control over the Panthers, he has driven the group to three straight divisional titles, and an appearance in Super Bowl 50.
