Drew Thomas Rasmussen is a Major League Baseball pitcher who currently pitches for the Tampa Bay Rays. He made his Major League Baseball debut in 2020 with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Drew Rasmussen graduated from Mt. Spokane High School in Mead, Washington, and went on to play college baseball for the Beavers at Oregon State University.
Rasmussen was picked in the 39th round of the 2014 MLB draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks prior to his freshman season. In a 3–0 victory over Washington State on March 21, 2015, as a freshman, he pitched the only perfect game in program history.
The Tampa Bay Rays chose him 31st overall in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft but he did not sign.
In September 2017, Rasmussen had his second Tommy John surgery, which forced him to miss the whole 2018 season.
