Dwayne Haskins was an American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for three seasons.
During his first year at Ohio State, Haskins redshirted. The following year saw Haskins being named a reinforcement for J.T Barrett and didn’t begin any matches.
Haskins completed the 2017 season with 57 passes, 565 running yards, and four touchdowns. In the 2018 school football season, Haskins began in every one of the 14 games for Ohio State.
Haskins tossed 50 touchdowns in just a single season, one of the seven quarterbacks to accomplish that achievement.
Furthermore, Haskins set Ohio State’s passing record with 4831 passing yards.
In the Big Ten Football Championship game against North Western, Haskins tossed for 499 yards and 5 scores. Later he was awarded the Most Valuable Player.
During groundwork for the NFL draft, Haskins worked out with Quincy Avery, Bullis School quarterback mentor. He used to prepare four days per week for six hours.
Haskins used to work on tossing with footwork drills and the following two hours doing the lifting. During the 2019 NFL draft Haskins was chosen in the first round by Washington Redskins as the fifteenth pick.
