Francisco José Mejía who was born on October 27, 1995, is a Dominican professional baseball receiver and a round for the Rays of Tampa Bay of the Major League Baseball (MLB). Previously, he played in MLB by the squadron of Cleveland-Indian and San Diego.

In July 2012, Mejía signed with the Cleveland Indians for more than $ 100,000, as unpredictable international financing. He made his professional debut in 2013 with the Arizona League-India League, India, where he made the season, hit .205 with four races at home and 24 RBIs races in 30 games.

Mejia takes an aggressive approach to the plate, swinging a funky, high-effort swing from both sides of the plate that he can maintain thanks to his exceptional hand-eye coordination and bat control. On a scale of 20 to 80, those qualities would be rated as 35 or 40 pitch selection and 65 or 70 bat control, respectively.
