Haidar Abdul-Razzaq Hassan was an Iraqi footballer who played as a defender for both Sulaymaniya FC and the Iraq national football team. He was born on June 5, 1982, and passed away on June 5, 2022.
The skilful and versatile player Haidar Abdul-Razzaq was capable of playing any position in the defensive lineup. In 1995, he started his playing career with the Talaba juvenile squad.
Prior to that, he had been playing for the Al-Shurta youth club, initially as a goalie but later transitioning to the defence position.
In 1996, he was one of five players that coach Nazar Ashraf took into the Talaba first team, and two years later, Adnan Hamad summoned him into the Iraqi Under-17s. In 1996, he was one of five players taken into Talaba’s first squad by coach Nazar Ashraf.
Additionally, he played for the Iraqi Under-19s team and was coached by the same individual. victory in the final of the AFC Youth Championship over Japan, achieved in spectacular fashion.
Haidar was given a call up by Milan Zivadinovic for Iraq’s World Cup qualification in 2002, and he made his debut for his country on January 31, 2000, against Lebanon in Beirut, in a match that ended in a scoreless tie.
While Iraq was being managed by a Croatian named Rudolf Belin, he appeared for Iraq in three more World Cup qualifying matches in 2002.
These matches were against Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Iran. In 2002, he signed a contract with Al-Ansar in Lebanon, but once the conflict was over
