Emilio Delgado has been on Sesame Street for over 4 decades. Emilio Delgado joined the Sesame Street ensemble in 1971 and stayed until his contract expired in 2016.
Sesame Workshop later revealed that talks to bring him back were underway. Delgado would continue to represent the workshop at public occasions after his departure, according to the workshop.
