Former US President Donald Trump will be the first guest on Piers Morgan’s new show, according to Morgan.
The 57-year-old TV host has released a dramatic video preview for his interview with Trump, which will debut next week on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
The 30-second commercial depicts the two sparring over Mr. Trump’s accusations that the 2016 US election was rigged, with Mr. Trump storming off camera after what is billed as “the most incendiary interview of the year.”
Morgan made headlines last year after departing ITV’s Good Morning Britain after an on-air spat with weather presenter Alex Beresford over the interview given to Oprah Winfrey by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The former tabloid editor stated he didn’t trust Meghan Markle’s assertions in the viral interview, prompting more than 50,000 complaints, the most ever received by the UK broadcasting regulator Ofcom.
Because of Morgan’s inflammatory comments, Ofcom determined that Good Morning Britain did not break the broadcasting rules.

The 75-minute interview with Piers Morgan will air on TalkTV on Monday at 8 p.m.
Morgan will be back on television shortly, thanks to the introduction of TalkTV on Monday. Piers Morgan Uncensored, his new TV show, premieres at 8 p.m.
There has been no permanent replacement for him on Good Morning Britain since his departure, with Richard Madeley and others appearing in a revolving cast of guest hosts.
