Anderson Hays Cooper is an American broadcast journalist and political commentator. He is the primary anchor of the CNN news broadcast show Anderson Cooper 360°.
In addition to his duties at CNN, Cooper serves as a correspondent for 60 Minutes on CBS News.
Born on June 3, 1967 (age 54 years), in New York, in the United States of America, Cooper graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1989.
As a young journalist, he began travelling the world, shooting footage of war-torn regions for Channel One News.
At the age of three, Cooper was a guest on The Tonight Show on September 17, 1970, appearing with his mother.
