A professional tennis player from Latvia the name of Aona Ostapenko, Jeena Ostapenko was born on June 8, 1997. On March 19, 2018, she attained a career-high WTA singles ranking of No. 5, and on March 2, 2020, she attained a doubles ranking of No. 17.
As the first Latvian to triumph in a Grand Slam singles competition and the first unseeded player to win the French Open since 1933, Ostapenko won the 2017 French Open singles championship.
