Jonathan Goldstein is a British solicitor and businessman. He is the co-founder and CEO of Cain International, an international investment corporation. Goldstein attended Ilford County High School before graduating with a law degree from the University of Manchester in 1987.
Following law school, he joined the worldwide law firm SJ Berwin in London. In 1992, Goldstein joined Olswang LLP, where he rose to fame as a “wunderkind,” becoming a partner at the age of 28, and then the youngest CEO of a London legal firm at the age of 32.
Goldstein oversaw the firm’s rapid expansion and global expansion. During Goldstein’s tenure, Olswang was referred to as “the hippest legal firm in town” and was named “Law Firm of the Year” multiple times by Chambers and Partners.
He was named the first head of European real estate and direct investments for the global investment firm Guggenheim Partners in 2013. Goldstein co-founded Cain Hoy Enterprises in 2014 with two other Guggenheim Partners alumni, Henry Silverman and Eldridge Industries chair Todd Boehly, with Guggenheim Partners providing minority funding. Cain International rebranded in 2017 and, by 2019, has invested about $5 billion in debt and equity transactions spanning Europe and the United States.
Jonathan Goldstein has never divulged any information about his parents, he is a very private person who likes to keep his personal life away from media attention.
