He relocated to France in his teens, where he earned a bachelor’s degree from the Université Nancy-II in 1992. He worked in the administration of one of the municipalities, as well as the departments of Meurthe and Mosel.
He returned to Poland in the mid-1990s. He graduated from the University of Silesia in Katowice with a master’s degree in political science and social sciences in 1998, and subsequently worked in Warsaw, among other places, for a firm that invests in retail malls.

He ran for the Sejm in the Nowy Scz seat in the 2015 elections. With 16 167 votes, he was elected deputy for the eighth term of office. In the 2019 elections, he was not re-elected. He was named the second deputy voivode of Maopolska in December 2019.
