According to EL PAS family sources, the actor Juan Diego Ruiz Moreno, well known as Juan Diego, died on Thursday at the age of 79.
The actor, who has appeared in films such as Los Santos Inocentes, El séptimo da, Dragon Rapide, Paris-Timbuktu, and You’re the one, as well as a lengthy career in the theater, has suffered from a number of sicknesses in recent years.
He was admitted to the Clínica de la Zarzuela in Madrid a few days ago and died this morning. He has two sons, Adán and Diego, and was born in the Sevillian village of Bormujos de Aljarafe in 1942.
Juan Diego’s career began in the theater, where he made his debut in 1957. In his early years, he appeared in a variety of Spanish television programs as well as several Estudio 1 dramatic plays, which helped him gain recognition.
