He was born in Barrington, Illinois. He is the son of Don Cousins and Maryann Cousins. He is the second of three children. He has a height of 6 ft 3 in (1.91m) and a weight of 205 Ib (93kg).
He attended high school at Holland Christian(Holland, Michigan) where he played football and college at Michigan State. He used to play for Washington Redskins and transferred to Minnesota Vikings in 2018.
