Lil Keed’s real name is Raqhid Jevon Render. He was a well-known rapper based in America and was signed to Young Thug’s record label YSL Records and 300 Entertainment. He was born on March 16, 1998, in Atlanta, Georgia in the USA and died at the age of 24 on May 14, 2022. The cause of his death is not known yet.
Lil Keed was raised in Forest Park. His family later moved to Atlanta on Cleveland Ave. Before that he worked for a while at Subway and McDonald’s. He used to record music in a studio that was close to his workplace almost every day.
In 2017, Lil Keed started recording songs and posting them online. He was doing this with his younger brother Semaja Render. In July 2018, he released his single named “Slatt Rock” which featured Paper Lovee along with his forthcoming mixtape Trapped on Cleveland 2.
In October of that year, Lil Keed and his younger brother, Lil Gotit got privileged to be featured in fellow rapper Lil Uzi Vert’s song Heavy Metal. He released a mixtape in December 2018 titled Keed Talk To ‘Em, which featured his main single Nameless, as well as other known singles he had such as “Balenciaga” featuring 21 Savage, and “Red Hot” featuring Trippie Redd, among others.
