Martin Roberts is an English television presenter, property expert, investor, entrepreneur, and author. He presents the BBC One property auction series Homes Under the Hammer.
He’s also hosted a number of other shows for the BBC, including Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and How to Survive the Property Crisis, as well as ITV’s travel show Wish You Were Here…?
Roberts is best known for being the BBC’s UK and Overseas Property Expert, having written and presented Homes Under the Hammer since its inception in 2003.
Roberts is known for appearing on BBC Breakfast, BBC News 24, and The One Show on a regular basis.
Roberts has also been on Ready Steady Cook alongside Lucy Alexander, co-host of Homes Under the Hammer.
He has appeared on the BBC gameshows Hole in the Wall and Pointless as a celebrity contestant, raising money for charity.
Roberts entered the BBC television show Celebrity MasterChef in July 2010, however despite performing well on the ingredient recognition assignment, he was eliminated at the first opportunity.
Roberts was a competitor on I’m a Celebrity… in November 2016.
