Chris Jones is an American football defensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Mississippi State University and was drafted by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He attended Houston High School in Houston, Mississippi, where he was an individual from the Hilltoppers’ secondary school football crew. Jones was a five-star select and was positioned among the class’ best players. He enlisted to play school football at Mississippi State University.

Jones began three games and showed up in each of the 13 games as a genuine rookie for Mississippi State in 2013. He made 32 handles and had three sacks in his vocation. Notwithstanding playing in each of the 13 games as a sophomore, he wrapped up with 26 handles and three sacks.
