David Birney was an American actor and director who was based in performances in movies and the theater. David is popularly noted for his starring in the series Bridget loves Bernie. After the series ended, he got married to his co-star Meredith Baxter.
Meredith Ann Baxter is an actress and a movie producer best known for starring in the movie ‘Family’ playing the role ‘Nancy Maitland Lawrence. Baxter was born on June 21, 1947, to parents Whitney Blake and Tom Baxter in South Pasadena, California.
Baxter always wanted to be an actress just like her mother but she was not in the spotlight till she became quite popular after shooting the then-popular Television series ‘The Doris Day Show ‘and ‘The Partridge Family.
Baxter has five children from her previous marriage with Robert Lewis Bush and David Birney. She is currently in a relationship with Nancy Locke after her three failed marriages.
Her acting career spiked in the late 90s and early 2000s staring in many movies like’ Family Ties’, ‘Kate’s Secret’ and ‘The Betty Broderick Story ‘, and many other movies, most of which she received nominations and was awarded the Emmy awards.
In 2005, Baxter was often seen in television commercials and shortly co-hosted the NBC morning news and talk show.
