Chubb began his collegiate career as a backup to future NFL running back Todd Gurley. After Gurley was suspended, Chubb started. At Missouri, he carried for 143 yards on 38 carries. Against Arkansas, he carried for 202 yards and two scores on 30 carries.
In the 2014 Belk Bowl versus Louisville, Chubb rushed for 266 yards and was named MVP. Despite only starting eight games, Chubb finished second in the SEC with 1,547 running yards.
