Romy Iris Charlotte Johnson is the name given to her by her parents, Boris and Carrie Johnson. The prime minister’s late mother’s name, Charlotte, was chosen as the inspiration for Romy, according to an Instagram post by Johnson’s aunt, Rosemary.

An earlier version of this article used the word “rainbow baby” to describe her daughter, who was born after she had been miscarried. Miscarriage has been a topic of conversation for the 33-year-old.

During a visit to a Covid vaccination center in Kent, the prime minister disclosed the initial name of his seventh or possibly eighth kid.
