Russell Carrington Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.
Born on November 29, 1988 (age 33 years), in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the United States of America Russell began his high school education at the Collegiate School in Richmond, Virginia.
Russell is said to have continued to college at North Carolina State University for the NC State Wolfpack football team in the sport of American football.
As a junior in 2005, he threw for 3,287 passing yards and 40 passing touchdowns and rushed for 634 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns. He was named an all-district, all-region, and all-state player. Wilson was twice named the Richmond Times-Dispatch Player of the Year.
On January 16, 2012, Wilson began training for the NFL Scouting Combine at the IMG Madden Football Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
