One of the British journalists and television hosts is Stephanie Rose McGovern. Presently, she is the host of Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch. She was the main presenter for BBC Breakfast and frequently shared hosting duties for the full show.
Despite growing up in Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire, McGovern was born in North Shields, Tyne & Wear, in 1982. She received an Arkwright Engineering Scholarship for her ability to lead the engineering sector in the future in 1998, at the beginning of her sixth form studies.
In 2005, she graduated from University College London with a BSc in Science Communication and Policy from the Department of Science and Technology Studies. 2013 saw Teesside University confer on her an honorary doctorate.
