Taylor Fritz is an American professional tennis player. He has a career-high singles ranking of world No. 13 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), achieved on March 21, 2022, and a doubles ranking of world No. 104, achieved on July 26, 2021.
Kathy May, a former top-10 player, and Guy Henry Fritz, who also played professional tennis and was voted US Olympic Development Coach of the Year 2016, are Fritz’s parents. Fritz is the youngest of their three sons, and his father was also a professional tennis player.
Taylor Fritz is the great-grandson of Morton D. May and the great-great-grandson of David May, the founder of The May Department Stores Company, which later amalgamated with Macy’s. Taylor Fritz is also the great-great-grandson of David May.
Chris and Kyle, who are both older than Fritz, are his maternal half-brothers. Fritz spent his childhood in Rancho Santa Fe, which is located in the San Diego metropolitan area, with his brothers.
