Who Is Wangui Mwai?

Wangui Mwai is the daughter of Kenya’s presidents, Mwai Kibaki and Mary Wanbui. Wambui, her mother, is said to be former President Mwai Kibaki’s second wife. Wambui and Kibaki were married under customary law in 2014, according to media sources.

Mwai married Wambui in 1972, according to Kikuyu customary law, according to the Wambui family. Wangui Mwai, on the other hand, has less information.

Mwai Kibaki, Wangui’s father, was a Kenyan politician who served as the country’s third President from December 2002 until April 2013. From 1992 to 2002, Kibaki was a member of the opposition in the Kenyan Parliament. He died on April 21, 2022, at the age of 90.

Mary Wambui, her mother, is a successful businesswoman and politician in Kenya. Former President Mwai Kibaki appointed her as the member of parliament for Othaya, and she took over from him.
