Oksana Shvets, a Ukrainian actress, was killed in a rocket strike on a residential building in Kyiv. She was 67 years old at the time.
Shvets has appeared in several Ukrainian films, including “Tomorrow Will Be Tomorrow,” “The Secret of St. Patrick,” “The Return of Mukhtar,” and the TV program “House With Lilies,” in addition to her theater work.
Shvets is the most recent prominent person to perish as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Earlier this week, two Fox News journalists were slain while reporting outside Kyiv: camera operator and war journalist Pierre Zakrzewski and Ukrainian journalist Oleksandra Kuvshynova.
