From Kendall Jenner and Rihanna to A-listers Laura Harrier and Kendall Jenner, the designer has made a name for himself and gained several stockists along the way.
Having a pair of Muaddi’s shoes can cost upwards of $1,000 if you’re lucky.
An upside-down stiletto heel inspired by steel nails will be part of the designer’s next collaboration with the brand.
Muaddi, a master of color and heel design, drew inspiration from Rihanna for this collection.
This is what she describes as “powerful, elegant, and feminine” footwear for her inspiration.
The Fenty x Amina Muaddi collaboration provides a feminine twist to Fenty’s customary cool girl and edgy style.
However, this is not Fenty’s first collaboration with the shoe designer. Muaddi confirmed to Footwear News just last year that she worked on Fenty’s in-house shoe design team.
The designer was able to include her own brand’s signature characteristics into this collection.
What Is Amina Muaddi Relationship With Rihanna?
Muaddi revealed to British Vogue in 2019 that she is acquainted with Rihanna’s stylist, which is how their friendship began.
“Well, I’m friends with Rihanna’s stylist, so he saw some early prototypes,” she explained.
“However, she later purchased a few pairs on her own through her personal shopper.” She’s a wonderful person.
When she first created her own company, she sent me some Fenty items, which make me feel incredible. She continued, “There’s that swagger, you feel like you’re channeling Rihanna.”
Many of her designs and her work with Rihanna’s Fenty brand have been highlighted in Vogue.
