Ernie Lively was an American actor and acting instructor who was the father of actors Lori Lively, Jason Lively, Robyn Lively, Eric Lively, and Blake Lively. He was born Ernest Wilson Brown Jr. on January 29, 1947, and died on June 3, 2021.
Lively married Elaine Lively, a talent manager, in 1979. Blake and Eric Lively, both actors, were born to them. Lori, Robyn, and Jason Lively, Elaine’s children from a previous marriage, were adopted by him.
He and his wife lived in Heber City, Utah. Lively died of a heart attack in 2003. Lively received stem-cell therapy in November 2013 as part of an experimental retrograde gene technique.
