Meet Thomas Colicchio an American Top celebrity chef who co-founded the Gramercy Tavern in New York City. Colicchio worked as Thomas Keller’s sous-chef at Rakel in the mid-1980s. In the Gramercy Park district of Manhattan, Colicchio and his partner Danny Meyer opened the Gramercy Tavern in July 1994. In 2003 and 2005, the Zagat Survey ranked it the most renowned restaurant in New York City.
