L’Jarius Sneed was born on the 21st of January in the year 1997. He is a cornerback with the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He attended Louisiana Tech University, where he played collegiate football. He was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth round (138th overall) of the NFL Draft in 2020.
Sneed, a former wide receiver for Minden High School, committed to Louisiana Tech on February 3, 2016, after playing wide receiver for the school.
While at Louisiana Tech, Sneed switched from safety to cornerback and saw action in all but one game during his true freshman season, which included an interception return score against Western Kentucky in the Conference USA Championship Game.
For his sophomore season, he started around half of the games at cornerback before transitioning to a permanent starting position during his junior season. He was shifted to free safety prior to his senior season and was named to the second team of the Conference USA after the season ended. Sneed also took part in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, which will take place in 2020.
